FILIPINO AMERICAN HISTORY MONTH COMMITTEE OF ILLINOIS (FAHMCI)

Dear Friend:

To commemorate the Filipino American History Month in October as declared by the U.S. House of Representatives Resolution 780, the first Gala Dinner Ball will be celebrated by the Filipino American community on October 15, 2010, Friday, 6:30 pm at the Meridian Banquets 1701 Algonquin Road, Rolling Meadows, Illinois.   Highlights of this month’s celebration include educational workshops, arts and exhibits, local cultural performances by the youth and by a well renowned Bayanihan Dance Group from the Philippines on Oct. 30, religious/sports events and other activities.

In conjunction with this celebration, FAHMCI will publish a Souvenir Program as a keepsake for the community, its guests, volunteers, advertisers and sponsors.  This souvenir program will find its permanent place in the PACF Library and Rizal Center.  We would be honored to have your advertisement or greeting in our souvenir program. Your support is greatly needed to insure the success of this October celebration.
