About Philippine American Chamber of Commerce
of Greater Chicago (PACCGC)

The original Philippine Chamber of Commerce (PCC) was founded in 1984, and was reorganized as the Philippine Chamber of Commerce of Chicago in 1989. It was been renamed as the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Chicago to include businesses in the collar counties. It is a voluntary state-wide membership organization of Filipino American professionals and business entrepreneurs, with good solid reputation in the community for financial credibility and impeccable character. It is a non-profit organization under IRS section 501 C-6.

Members can avail many benefits upon joining the chamber, such as start up loans, expansion programs through the services of Asian American Small Business Development Center (AA-SBDC), SBA, U.S. Department of Commerce SMBDA and the Asian American Alliance, an association of Asian Chambers of Commerce in Chicago. It also helps businesses through entrepreneurial services, including management, financial and marketing assistance, entrepreneurial training, vendor development, major conferences, advocacy and other program and services.

The Chamber also assists members in obtaining financing through private financial institutions and the City of Chicago’s loan program. It also maintains updated market studies for Filipino products and services. It promotes stronger business ties with the membership and other ethnic business groups.

PACCGC is a founding member of the Federation of the Philippine American Chambers of Commerce (FPACC), a national and international network of Filipino American entrepreneurs.

The Chamber is a delegate agency of the City of Chicago.   We have strengthened relationship with the Philippine Chamber of Commerce Trade and Industry; with the Philippine US Business Economic Council by sending Philippine Trade Missions in 2006 and 2008; with The World Trade Center of Illinois. We have strengthened our liaison with Springfield, the Governor’s Office, the Secretary of State and the State Treasurer. We have formed an alliance with mainstream World Trade Center of Illinois. It has a professionally created website that is up and running.

Our networking sessions continue to attract a very diverse group of Filipino Americans and mainstream businessmen. Our healthcare and other types of business seminar and workshop enhanced our exposure to the mainstream and made our members very proud of their role in the Chambers’ activities. Please check out our 2009 events and keep our website for future events.
