Hello All Small Business Owners and Entrepreneurs!

Our Small Business Certification Workshop is next Wednesday, October 21st at DeVry University-Chicago.

If you’re a small business owner and are looking for an opportunity to increase your customer base, than this is the workshop for you!  The government-Local, State, Federal- buys BILLIONS OF DOLLARS of goods and services from Small Businesses annually, and they could be your largest and most profitable customer.  Our workshop will show you how.

The Government buys anything and everything.  You name it, they buy it, and they buy a good chunk of it from CERTIFIED MINORITY, WOMEN, and DISADVANTAGED-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES!  If your business is 51% owned and controlled by Minority, Women, or Disadvantaged Persons, than you qualify under this program, BUT you need to get certified.   Many qualified businesses mistakenly pass up these valuable opportunities because of the amount of paperwork involved.  Although it may seem daunting, it’s really not that difficult, and our new program will make the process easier.  Our workshop will give an overview of the programs and opportunities for contracting, and we will help you complete both the M/WBE and DBE applications through our exclusive M/WBE-DBE application program.

After the workshop, you will have a ready-to-print M/WBE application, along with a DBE application (recognized and accepted by the State of Illinois and the US Dept. of Transportation)

On a personal note, prior to my taking on the Executive Director’s position at the PACCGC, I was a government contractor for over 15 years.   Much of my success was attributed to the M/WBE and DBE programs instituted by the government to help Small Businesses Succeed.  I won annual contracts in excess of $7 Million.  My largest contract was worth over $12 Million.I KNOW THE PROGRAM WORKS.  It can work for you, but you have to make a commitment to work the program.

The cost of this workshop is $50.00, which is a bargain compared to what many assist agencies charge ($300-500).  Space is limited by the number of available workstations provided by DeVry University, and will be on a First to register basis,  So please register right away.   After you’ve completed the workshop, we’ll be here to provide you with assistance if you need it.

You’ll also have an opportunity to meet and network with representatives of various agencies looking for CERTIFIED M/WBEs and DBEs, so bring plenty of business cards.
